I built this space because I couldn't find the one I needed.

My wife D and I started our journey to parenthood in 2015 — newly married, full of hope, and navigating a path that didn't come with many roadmaps for families like ours. Living in the southern United States, with limited options and even less representation, we leaned hard on each other, our chosen family, and every resource we could find. Our road included loss, resilience, Co-IVF, and ultimately, the arrival of our beautiful AJ — and every step of that journey reminded us how much it matters to know you're not alone.

That's why QFW exists. Because together, we can make anything happen.

What We're About

The Q Family Way is a multi-resource ecosystem for modern, diverse families — queer, blended, chosen, solo, co-parenting, and everything in between. We're here for the caregivers raising kids under the rainbow, across cultures, and beyond the traditional mold.

We cover the things that actually matter to families like ours: travel, finances, identity, caregiving, health, legal rights, education, and the deep questions no one prepares you for. No one-size-fits-all advice here — just real talk, practical tools, and a whole lot of warmth.

This is parenting beyond the script. Come q-urious, leave seen.
